Build credits
Every plan — including Free — builds on Black Whole’s own capacity, with no API key and no card required. Work is charged in build credits, priced by the kind of run, and each plan includes a monthly allotment. You never choose or see a model: Black Whole routes every prompt to the right capacity behind the scenes.
What each run costs

Credits are reserved when a run starts and settled when it completes. If a run fails, the reservation is refunded automatically — you only ever pay for work that produced a result. Pausing and resuming a run never charges twice.

On the 1st of each month your balance tops up to your plan’s allotment if it is below it. Credits you bought or earned are never taken away by the refresh — a balance above the allotment simply carries over.
Top-ups
Out of credits mid-month? Top up 150 build credits for $5 from the usage page. Top-ups are one-time payments, land immediately, and never expire.
Which capacity serves a run?
Billing
Payments run through Stripe. Black Whole never receives or stores your card number — the card details are entered on Stripe’s own payment page and stay with Stripe. Your plan updates automatically when Stripe confirms the payment, usually within a few seconds.
Cancelling
Cancel at any time from your account settings. Paid features stay available until the end of the period you have already paid for, then the account returns to the free plan. Your projects, files, and published sites are not deleted when you downgrade, and topped-up credits stay yours.
Checking your usage
Your balance sits next to the prompt bar in every workspace, and the usage page shows the full picture: balance, your plan’s allotment, the next refresh date, and recent activity. Current prices are listed on the pricing page.
