Guide
Showcase and templates
Starting from a blank prompt is optional. You can explore real projects built by other creators, pick a structured starting template, or select motion effects before writing your first instruction.
The showcase
The public gallery at /showcase features real websites and games that creators have built and published using Black Whole. When creators publish their finished projects, their work can appear in this public collection.
Browsing the showcase gives you a clear view of what the AI builder, super agent, and games engine can actually produce before you begin your own project. You can inspect live layouts, test interactive features, and get concrete ideas for your own builds.
Templates
The starting-point gallery at /templates provides pre-built foundations for websites, agents, and interactive applications. A template gives the agent a working skeleton with page structure and core sections already in place.
Use a template when you want the first build to land closer to what you pictured without having to describe basic layouts from scratch. Use an empty prompt when you have a unique concept or want the agent to design a completely original structure from the ground up.
Animations
The library at /animations contains ready motion and interaction patterns that you can ask the agent to apply directly to your project.
Choosing patterns from this library keeps motion consistent across your pages instead of having the agent invent different transition styles for every build step. You can reference specific animation styles to maintain a clean visual feel throughout your application.
Choosing a starting point
Select the approach that fits your project goals and how much initial structure you want to provide:
| Starting point | Best when | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| An empty prompt | You have a custom idea and want complete freedom from the start. | A flexible first draft based entirely on your initial prompt text. |
| A template | You want a proven structure for a standard site, agent, or game. | A working skeleton with predefined layout blocks and page sections. |
| A showcase piece you remix | You find an existing build in /showcase that closely matches your vision. | A copy of the published project structure that you can modify and customize. |
| A template plus a reference site | You need structural reliability combined with design cues from a specific URL. | A structured layout baseline enhanced with styling and content inspired by the reference site. |
Ownership of generated code
Templates and showcase pieces serve as starting points for your project. The resulting output is your own original code that you fully own, export, and host wherever you choose.
